Registering on the exchange is very easy even for a beginner. To do this you need:

  2. When you click on “Open account” or “Open trading account”, a page opens for entering personal data.

  3. If you are accessing the site after registration, select “Login”. Under the login form there is a button to recover a lost password, 2FA code, and also for registration (if you are on the exchange for the first time).

Step-by-step guide to working on the LiveCoin exchange

Step 1. Registration in the system

Creating a profile is the first thing a trader needs to do. Unfortunately, there is no demo version on the exchange. The registration process is quite simple and does not take much time. First you need to go to the official website. Find the red “Open Trading Account” button.

Clicking on it will open a new tab with a form that you need to fill out. Enter data:

  • Enter your login;
  • Create a password;
  • Enter a current email address;
  • Don't forget to include your referral code if you have one.

Then enter the captcha and check the box indicating that you have read and agree to the terms of the user agreement, as well as that you have been warned about the need to undergo account verification. After completing all these steps, click “Continue”.

A confirmation code will be sent to the email address specified in the form. It must be entered on the website for the account to be activated.

Step 2. Account verification

Even though there is no mandatory account verification on the exchange, the administration and experienced traders still advise going through this procedure immediately after the account has been created. Why is this necessary?

First of all, for safety. By confirming your identity, you link your profile to yourself and get a lot of benefits. For example, ease of restoring access if you suddenly forget your password. Another benefit of verification is that you will be able to deposit or withdraw money using bank transfers. A verified account is a prerequisite to transfer money this way.

To confirm his identity, the owner must log into the account, go to the “Security” tab and select the desired type of verification - to restore access or for a bank transfer.

Entry-level LiveCoin verification does not require submitting an identification document. To confirm that your profile belongs to you, you need to clearly write the name of the exchange and the date on a white sheet of paper and take a photo with this entry. Upload your photo without additional processing into the form on the site’s website. There are several requirements for the photo:

  • High resolution: at least 1920x1080 pixels;
  • A clear image with a clearly visible face and legible inscription.

This procedure will help restore access to your account much faster. You will need to take 2 identical photographs taken in different places and send them to the exchange's email account.

To undergo full verification, which will allow you to make bank transfers, make claims to the exchange or ask questions, you need to send a scan of your identification document - passport or ID card. Driver's licenses, student IDs and other IDs are not accepted. The scan must meet the following requirements:

  • This must be a scan made with the appropriate equipment - a scanner. Please note that photos are not accepted;
  • The image resolution must be at least 1600 pixels.

Step 3. Top up your account

After creating an account and verifying it, you need to top up your wallet balance to start trading. On LiveCoin you can deposit both cryptocurrency and fiat money - euros, dollars and rubles.

The resource does not charge a commission for depositing digital money. Basically, there are no specific limits on depositing cryptocurrencies. The minimum input threshold exists only for ARTE and WAVES - 1 and 2 coins, respectively.

Fiat deposit fees depend on the chosen method. It is most profitable to deposit euros, dollars or rubles using the Capitalist.net system. It does not provide rewards for replenishment. The minimum amount for depositing fiat currency is the same for all methods: 50 USD / 50 EUR / 1,000 RUR.

How to top up your wallet:

  • Log in to your account;
  • Go to the “Balance” tab;

  • Select a wallet with the desired currency. For example, rubles. Click “Replenishment”;

  • In the tab that opens, select a convenient payment method. For rubles these are Capitalist.net, AdvCash, Payeer and Qiwi;
  • Enter the payment amount and click “Pay”;
  • The system will redirect you to the payment page. Next, follow the instructions.

This scheme works for all fiat currencies. With crypto, everything is even simpler - after you click “Top up” and create a wallet for the selected digital coin, all that remains is to copy the address where you will make the transfer.

Another way to replenish a deposit is to use a voucher for a certain amount. This option can be used by any exchange user. The voucher is completely anonymous and has a unique code. You can buy a LiveCoin voucher at partner digital money exchange points:

  • Changelly;
  • 60sec;
  • LocalBitcoin;

Step 4. Start trading

So, you already have the necessary amount in your account to start your trading career. Well, it's time to get started!

Open the “Trading on LiveCoin” tab. In the new window you will see a variety of tools that the exchange is rich in: a table for selecting a pair, a price change chart, forms for buying and selling, a list of your orders, the history of trading on the market, the history of your trading. Don’t worry, only at first glance everything seems complicated and confusing. In fact, even a novice cryptocurrency trader will figure it out in a matter of minutes.

First of all, select the pair you will trade in the table on the left. For example, Ethereum (select it in the top column) and the dollar (fiat can be found in the long list). Study price fluctuations in the chart on the right; there you can also find a market depth chart for the selected pair.

Decide which order you will use to sell or buy coins. There are two types in total on LiveCoin: market and limit. The first is for buying and selling at the current exchange rate. A limit order involves an exchange at the moment the currency reaches a certain price.

Having decided which order you will use, you need to fill out the appropriate form to buy or sell.

By the way, the resource suggests using a pending order. These are special triggers that are triggered when certain conditions are met. The advantage of pending orders is that the funds are not blocked, but remain on the account exactly until the transaction is completed.

Step 5. How to withdraw money from LiveCoin?

Withdrawal of funds is carried out in the same section where the replenishment takes place - open the “Balance” tab. Select the desired currency (you can withdraw both crypto and fiat), and click “Withdraw”.

For withdrawals, a commission is charged for all currencies without exception. For rubles, dollars or euros, the amount of remuneration is calculated based on the amount; for crypto money, the rate is fixed.

The limits are also different. For fiat, regardless of the withdrawal method, the minimum amount is 10 USD / 10 EUR / 100 RUR.

How to trade on the stock exchange

To start trading on the exchange, you can watch the training video, the link to which is in the upper right corner, next to the login button.

The video lasts 6 minutes, during which time the following questions are covered:

  • working with charts;
  • work with orders;
  • deposit/withdrawal of funds;
  • transactions with vouchers;
  • referral program;
  • safety;
  • API.

But professionals (like most beginners) can start trading without first watching the video, since the platform’s interface is intuitive, and the main trading functions are standard, as on most cryptocurrency exchanges.

Interface, menu, features

As already mentioned, LiveCoin is famous for its simple and intuitive interface.

When we go to the “Trade” tab, where trading will take place, we see:

  1. Price chart of the selected cryptocurrency pair.
  2. Sidebar on the left for selecting a trading pair.
  3. Fields for buying/selling.
  4. Exchange glass.
  5. History of personal and general transactions.

The chart can be changed at your discretion: select a different time period, switch to displaying market depth, or hide it completely.

Placing orders

To make your first deal to buy or sell cryptocurrency, you must:

  1. Select a trading pair (to the left of the chart).
  2. Decide on the type of order*: market or limit. Market order – this is the purchase or sale of cryptocurrency at the price that is relevant at the moment (market price). In this case, the order will be executed instantly. Limit order assumes that the trader will set the price himself and the transaction will be executed when it becomes relevant.

  3. Enter the desired transaction amount, price (limit order) and click the “Buy” or “Sell” button.

*Read more about the types of orders in our articles:

  • What is a market order on an exchange?
  • The concept of a limit order using the example of a cryptocurrency exchange.

Trading is also possible using special programs (trading bots) via the API.

How to trade

To do this, go to the “Trade” tab.

On the left of the screen there is a list of all trading pairs; select the one you are going to work with.

On the right is a price chart for the selected cryptocurrency. A little lower there are two blocks: “Buy” and “Sell”. These blocks are needed to create orders.

There are two types of orders: market and limit.

A market order is designed to buy coins at the current exchange rate.

A limit order is designed to buy and sell at a rate you set (below the market price). Simply put, for automated trading. By creating such an order, you do not need to sit and monitor the price.

When buying, the order will be triggered when the price drops below the level you set, and when selling, when the price rises above the level you set.

See the picture for how to switch between orders.

And at the very bottom is the history of trading on the market.

Exchange services

The LiveCoin platform stands out from other cryptocurrency exchanges due to its wide functionality not available on other resources. For example, the ability to issue and use vouchers.

A Livecoin voucher is a special code that allows you to anonymously and freely transfer funds to any user within the platform. When creating it, you can specify the user login or hash. Then only one person can use it.

To receive a code for replenishing your account on the Livecoin exchange, you can buy it at partner electronic currency exchange offices (full list - https://www.livecoin.net/ru/partners).

Another interesting feature: automatic trading via API (you can read more on the official website - https://www.livecoin.net/api/common).

Also worth attention is the “Game” , where anyone can make a forecast regarding the rise or fall of the price of the Bitcoin cryptocurrency. If the prediction is confirmed, the participant receives a certain amount, which depends on the number of players and their bets, the prize fund, and the percentage of losers.

For those who store altcoins on the exchange, there is an incentive program - Profitbox . A number of tokens participate in it:

The longer one or more tokens from the list are in your internal wallet, the greater the reward. At the same time, they are not frozen on the account and can be traded.

the program for providing liquidity to the market maker is in testing mode (available for some users). You can read more here – https://www.livecoin.net/ru/profitbox.

Let’s also mention the quick listing of new but promising tokens, as well as the holding of an IEO (pre-sale through an exchange).

Safety

The platform developers paid great attention to security. In addition to two-factor protection using the Google Authenticator application, you can configure:

  • session length (from 30 minutes to 48 hours);
  • financial code;
  • IP check at every login;
  • allowed login addresses (IP whitelist).

The system also offers to save and use, in case of emergency, a security code to block your account. To find it, go to the “Account” section, “Security” subsection.

Referral program

The LiveCoin exchange has a well-thought-out referral program.

To start earning money by referring friends and acquaintances, follow the instructions:

  1. Go to the "Account" section.
  2. In the proposed list, select “Referral program” and click on it.
