Benefits of technology
DigitalNote
The advantages of using DigitalNote cryptocurrency include:
- The use of the PoW protocol, which has proven itself to be the best in many cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin. The use of this technology significantly increases the security level of the entire network and gives it the ability to repel almost any attack. Individual network nodes have their own complexity, and it changes with the advent of new blocks. At the same time, mining is carried out using ordinary PCs.
- Complete autonomy and independence of the system is achieved through a peer-to-peer network.
- The developers paid special attention to security. It is almost impossible to counterfeit or steal cryptocurrency.
- All transactions are completely anonymous. When making payments, personal information is not provided. Network users can see information only about the amount and direction of payment. Transaction fees are negligible. Transactions are carried out almost instantly. This is partly due to the fact that cryptocurrency is not yet very popular.
Flaws
The disadvantages of XDN include:
- Increasing mining difficulty. Despite the fact that the technology provides protection against the use of ASIC equipment, the mining process is gradually becoming more complicated. There is a possibility that XDN will repeat the history of Litecoin in terms of mining in the future. The latter was once created as a counterweight to Bitcoin, including from the point of mining. However, today it is no longer possible to mine litecoins using average equipment.
- A high degree of protection is not a 100% guarantee against hacking by hackers. If the user loses the key, it is impossible to restore access to the wallet. Dimecoin cryptocurrency differs in the same way.
- The disadvantages also include exchange rate risks. Unlike fiat currencies, it is extremely difficult to predict exchange rate fluctuations in cryptocurrencies. This is largely due to their characteristics. The risk here is that the price could either go up significantly or go down to 0 if users and investors lose interest in XDN. The investment prospects of this cryptocurrency are not yet clear. The project uses several interesting approaches, but they are not unique.
- The irrevocable nature of transactions is a plus for sellers of goods and services, who are guaranteed to receive money upon sale. For an ordinary user, this is rather a minus, since if the coins were sent to one or another address by mistake, it will no longer be possible to return the money.

Features of the XDN cryptocurrency
Features of CryptoNote
The features of this electronic coin include the ability to exchange private messages between system participants. The cryptocurrency uses the Proof of Work algorithm, as well as CryptoNote technology, complemented by a system for sending untraceable encrypted messages and the ability to deposit electronic currency.
The technology is completely decentralized. It uses open source. As for mining, despite the fact that PoW involves mining, XDN is much easier to mine than Bitcoin or Litecoin. The fact is that digitalnote uses a not entirely “pure” Proof of Work protocol. It is a hybrid between PoW and PoS.
The maximum possible number of coins is more than 8 billion XDN. At the same time, the user receives 150 units as a reward for the block.
DigitalNote technology allows you to carry out instant transactions around the world with complete confidentiality and minimal commissions. And these are not all the possibilities that the system offers:
- Completely anonymous transactions within the network that cannot be tracked. Information is transmitted in encrypted form.
- Crypto messages transmitted within the system cannot be traced. They are transferred between users instantly.
- So-called “depositories” are provided. Each user can block a certain amount for storage at a rate of around 1% per annum.
- Thanks to the use of new technologies, XDN is not just anonymous. The network does not allow analysis and identification of connections between transactions of the same user.
- The distribution of new tokens occurs through a fair mining system that excludes the use of ASIC devices.
- Each user can take part in improving the system, since the source code is completely open.
- Like most other similar projects, DigitalNote is a decentralized network without a single governing body.
- The minimum commission for a transaction is 0.001XDN. The block formation time is 4 minutes, which is 2.5 times higher than the same indicator for Bitcoin.

Algorithm
DigitalNote XDN is a cryptocurrency, a type of decentralized digital money similar to Bitcoin. It is based on CryptoNote anonymity technology and is complemented by a unique system for sending untraceable encrypted messages and blockchain deposits. No one owns or controls DigitalNote, it uses peer-to-peer technology as well as fair, ASIC-resistant PoW mining, and operates without any central authority.
DigitalNote offers privacy-protected, instant, worldwide transactions and untraceable encrypted messaging with nearly zero processing fees on a decentralized peer-to-peer user network. Mathematics is responsible for securing the XDN network and allowing individuals to control their own finances and information. Your private key is your bank account, inaccessible to any censorship or surveillance. Freedom exists.

Getting started with DigitalNote XDN
The average user should use a DigitalNote graphic wallet. Simplewallet is a wallet for services such as mining pools and exchanges. You can download binaries or compile your own from the official XDN project github repository.
You can get DigitalNote through mining. Mining is the process of generating new XDN units. You will receive a number of newly generated DigitalNotes coins as a reward for securing the network through CPU power.
Another way to receive DigitalNote is by making a deposit.
Each XDN user can invest their DigitalNotes with an interest rate of ~1% per year and “lock” their XDN for a period of 1 month to 10 years. You can also always exchange XDN for any other currency or receive payments in DigitalNote.
Features of DigitalNote XDN
- Untraceable, truly anonymous DigitalNote transactions and encrypted information transfer in a decentralized peer-to-peer network.
- DigitalNote offers an instant, secure, untraceable and unlinkable way to encrypt communications - crypto messages.
- DigitalNotes coins can be locked in a deposit account for a certain time with an interest rate of 0.5 - 1% per annum. Deposits are the productive resource of the main supply.
- The DigitalNote blockchain is resistant to any kind of analysis. All XDN transactions and message passing are decoupled.
- DigitalNote distribution occurs through fair ASIC-resistant PoW mining. The block reward approximately one year after launch is 150 XDN.
- The XDN announcement was public and loud. Starting from the very first block, XDN is mined by the cryptocurrency community through CPU mining using the PoW algorithm.
- XDN is a decentralized open source project released under the MIT license, so everyone can participate in the development process.
- DigitalNote uses decentralized peer-to-peer technology and operates without any central authority. Your key file is a private XDN bank.

Key milestones in XDN development
Directions for XDN development
Since the advent of the technology and its implementation, as well as the issue of the first coin, the developers have set themselves some goals, some of which have already been achieved. In particular:
- Collaboration with Freewallet. The Freewallet team has extensive experience in developing and managing mobile cryptocurrency wallets. The Digital Note developers decided to work with Freewallet. The mobile wallet was released through the ICCO process. There are a lot of interesting options on offer, including purchasing XDN with a credit card.
- Mobile messaging service. This application is also developed by Freewallet. Launched in the fourth quarter of 2017. Allows you to exchange messages online like the gram cryptocurrency.
- Cooperation with leading exchanges. At the time of writing, the XDN cryptocurrency is already traded on platforms such as HitBTC and Bittrex. The ICCO procedure itself was carried out with the participation of the HitBTC exchange.
- Using a special Proof of Activity protocol. Thanks to this, the network will receive an even higher level of security. The launch is scheduled for the second quarter of 2020.
How and where to buy cryptocurrency DigitalNote
You can purchase XDN in several ways - through a wallet application, an exchange service, or on an exchange. Let's look at each of them in more detail. If we consider wallets, the Android application allows you to purchase cryptocurrency while paying with credit cards. In this case, XDN will be automatically credited to the wallet.
The second option is to work through an exchange service. You can find the right one using the bestchange.ru service. At the time of writing, the XDN cryptocurrency is offered for exchange on the Changelly service.
As for exchanges, so far you can find this cryptocurrency on only two - HitBTC (with the help of which the ICO was carried out) and Bittrex.
HitBTC is a cryptocurrency exchange registered in Hong Kong. Founded in 2013. Bittrex is an American cryptocurrency exchange with fairly high daily trading volumes.
DigitalNote Wallets
DigitalNote Wallets
As noted above, DigitalNote developers have engaged Freewallet to create wallets where the XDN cryptocurrency will be stored.
Unlike desktop applications, the XDN wallet is immediately ready to use after downloading and installing without additional synchronization. At the same time, the creators guarantee a high level of protection. The developers note that 90% of users do not backup or forget their passphrases. Therefore, the wallet was designed with these features in mind.
In particular, the following benefits are offered:
- Most assets are stored in cold wallets offline. This allows you to protect the user's funds from theft.
- No backup required. Even if the user loses his device, he will be able to freeze his account and log in from any other smartphone or tablet based on iOS or Android.
- Additional level of security. Users can create codewords to enhance the security of their wallets.
The advantage of using such a wallet is the possibility of internal cryptocurrency exchange and replenishment via credit cards with transfer to the desired coin.
How to create a digitalnote wallet? To do this, you need to download the distribution from the official website of the project, install it and register.
DigitalNote: cryptocurrency to ruble rates
Current rates of cryptocurrencies to the ruble - follow the fluctuations online. Information comes from the largest exchanges and is processed in real time. You can see exchange rate changes for most of the most popular fiat currencies. Online charts, automatic converter and news will allow you to quickly navigate the current market trends in the relationship between the ruble and cryptocurrencies.
It is always worth remembering that the cryptocurrency exchange rate is quite volatile. It can either grow by several percent in a couple of minutes or fall. This volatility attracts most investors, who constantly monitor the price of cryptocurrency in order to buy at the lowest price, and then wait for growth to sell at the highest. You can buy cryptocurrency quickly and at a favorable rate in the Matbi online exchanger. The service has been operating for more than five years and can offer users not only the exchange of cryptocurrencies, but also their reliable storage. Matbi's built-in crypto wallet supports four leading cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dash and Zcash. A high level of protection for users’ crypto assets is provided by “cold” wallets, as well as three-factor authentication when entering your personal account (PIN code, email code and SMS code, which can be replaced with Google Authenticator). The service is also interesting to users, as it includes a multi-level affiliate program. 24-hour technical support promptly answers all user questions. How to become the owner of cryptocurrency in Matbi is discussed in detail in this video.

Mining DigitalNote
How to mine digitalnote? It was already noted above that cryptocurrency mining is carried out using the PoA protocol. This is a hybrid technology of Proof of Work + Proof of Stake. Mining starts as with the standard PoW protocol. That is, miners compete with each other to see who can solve the cryptographic problem faster. Blocks do not contain any transactions and look more like templates. Accordingly, the mined block will only contain the miner’s address and a header.
Here the system switches to Proof of Stake. Depending on the header information, a random group of validators is selected to sign this new block. Moreover, the more coins a validator has, the greater the chances that he will be chosen.
If one of the validators fails to complete a block, a new one and the next group of validators are chosen. At the same time, the commission is distributed between the miner and the validators who signed the block.
This method has its drawbacks, which both “parent” protocols have. For example, PoA is criticized for the energy consumption of block mining and the ability of the validator to leave two signatures. The system is similar to fantomcoin mining.
Mining Electroneum on various devices
We will choose hashvault.pro as the mining pool, since it allows mining directly to the exchange. On it we need to find information about the address that needs to be specified in the program.
Therefore, after the transition, we look for the “Getting started” tab, where we will immediately see several sections with instructions for miners.
The difference between them is the presence of various settings, including payment id, which is necessary for direct mining on the exchange.
Mining on a CPU processor
For a CPU processor, you can use the xmr-stak-cpu miner, since this program produces a hashrate greater than Claymore CPU.
Go to the GitHub resource and download the version for the processor.
First, let's set up the "config" file, it can be opened using notepad, notepad++ or any other text editor.
Next we find the lines:
"pool_address" : "pool.usxmrpool.com:3333",
"wallet_address" : "",
"pool_password" : "",
They need to be replaced with:
"pool_address" : "pool.electroneum.hashvault.pro:5555",
"wallet_address" : "etnjzKFU6ogESSKRZZbdqraPdcKVxEC17Cm1Xvbyy76PARQMmgrgceH4krAH6xmjKwJ3HtSAKuyFm1BBWYqtchtq9tBap8Qr4M. 96de5811bd7b9a9c5a2f7733a1daf5f72389fcc1ee9e95e7d43a004908dc492b",
"pool_password" : "x",
Where:
etnjzKFU6ogESSKRZZbdqraPdcKVxEC17Cm1Xvbyy76PARQMmgrgceH4krAH6xmjKwJ3HtSAKuyFm1BBWYqtchtq9tBap8Qr4M. 96de5811bd7b9a9c5a2f7733a1daf5f72389fcc1ee9e95e7d43a004908dc492b– PLEASE NOTE the first number is the address of your wallet, and after the dot is your payment id, which you received when creating the wallet (for a local one, only the address is enough).
pool.electroneum.hashvault.pro:5555 – pool address, along with the port.
We are also looking for the line:
"cpu_threads_conf" :
NULL,
Now you need to change to:
"cpu_threads_conf" : [
{ "low_power_mode" : false, "no_prefetch" : true, "affine_to_cpu" : 0 },
{ "low_power_mode" : false, "no_prefetch" : true, "affine_to_cpu" : 1 },
{ "low_power_mode" : false, "no_prefetch" : true, "affine_to_cpu" : 2 },
{ "low_power_mode" : false, "no_prefetch" : true, "affine_to_cpu" : 3 },
{ "low_power_mode" : false, "no_prefetch" : true, "affine_to_cpu" : 4 },
{ "low_power_mode" : false, "no_prefetch" : true, "affine_to_cpu" : 5 },
],
Each line from the above array is responsible for connecting another processor core. I have a six-core system, so I connect five and leave one for work.
Please note that the countdown starts with the number 0, not 1!!!
Save and run the file “xmr-stak-cpu.exe”, the following picture should appear:
Mining on a GPU video card
For mining on video cards, we will also use a modification of this miner:
- Link for Radeon;
- Link for GeForce;
Here you also need to make some settings in the “config” file, for this we find the following values:
“gpu_thread_num”: 1, the number is changed depending on the video cards installed in the machine
Next in the array -
""gpu_threads_conf" : [
{ "index" : 0, "intensity" : 1000, "worksize" : 8, "affine_to_cpu" : false },
{ "index" : 1, "intensity" : 1000, "worksize" : 8, "affine_to_cpu" : false },
{ "index" : 2, "intensity" : 1000, "worksize" : 8, "affine_to_cpu" : false },
{ "index" : 3, "intensity" : 1000, "worksize" : 8, "affine_to_cpu" : false },
{ "index" : 4, "intensity" : 1000, "worksize" : 8, "affine_to_cpu" : false },
{ "index" : 5, "intensity" : 1000, "worksize" : 8, "affine_to_cpu" : false },
],
We must remove unnecessary information, if we have one card, then the rest are unnecessary and delete all lines except the one with index 0. If you have two cards, then all lines except 0 and 1, etc.
Next, the array with the pool and address is filled in the same way as for a miner on a processor.
You can check the hashrate on both miners using the letter “h”. If it doesn't work, try changing the layout to English.
Next, we check whether charges are being made to the pool, to do this, on the main page (the “Home” tab), we find the “Payment address” tab where you need to insert the number that you received when generating the wallet through the point with payment id (as inserted into the program):
If problems occur, check the code again.

Mining ETN coins on your phone
Electroneum has a mobile application available for Android. You can download this mobile app for free from Google Play Store.
You download the app, create an account (or sign up with Facebook), create an Electroneum wallet and PIN, and then start mining.
Android development began on November 1, 2020.
The app also has a mining game where you can increase the number of coins you get. The game is designed to teach people more about cryptocurrency mining and then encourage them to set up their full miners on their computer.
In terms of power and data usage, Electroneum is not very specific about its requirements. However, the use of data has been designed to ensure that the project's application is a viable option for those in developing parts of the world. Ideally, you will have an unlimited data plan, or run Electroneum on Wi-Fi whenever you want.
XDN Outlook for 2020
At the beginning of 2020, the cryptocurrency showed a jump in exchange rate, and the price increased 4 times. The truth then began a correction. Experts believe that it is temporary and XDN has prospects to continue the upward trend.
One of the advantages offered by the technology is greater transaction anonymity than Bitcoin. However, skeptics note that digitalnote does not offer solutions unique to the industry, which could negatively affect the further growth of the cryptocurrency.
Skeptics note that the industry has already created other cryptocurrencies such as Monero, Dash, Zcash, which are distinguished by an equally high degree of anonymity. At the same time, these projects have already proven themselves and are in high demand among users. Accordingly, XDN developers need to make more efforts to advertise their project and make it more interesting for the consumer.
On the other hand, the cryptocurrency community has been searching for alternatives to Bitcoin for quite some time. This is probably one of the factors that contributed to the serious growth of altcoins recently, such as the increase in the electronium rate. News constantly appears in the media that this or that coin shows very high results in capitalization growth.
Features of DigitalNote Cryptocurrency
The whole world already knows that Bitcoin is not an anonymous cryptocurrency. That is why, in 2014, there was a “boom” in the creation of cryptocurrencies that could protect the confidential data of their users (DASH, Monero). The DigitalNote cryptocurrency, which we are now describing, is one of these coins. Among the main features of the XDN cryptocurrency is the presence of an internal messenger in which users can exchange anonymous messages. The main functionality of DigitalNote includes the following aspects:
– Depository, the yield of which ranges from 0.5% -1% per year;
– Protection against mining Asic Miner;
– Using CPU mining or mining using a central processor;
– Licensed by MIT;
– Having your own wallet – SimpleWallet.
